Dan Wistman leads PCG’s school threat assessment practice. Dan was a key member of the PCG team that teamed up with the School Board of Broward County after the Parkland tragedy. Since then, he has parlayed that work into a career defined by meeting the need to develop and implement systems to closely manage students who are a risk to themselves or others.

Dan has 35 years of information system project experience including leading software development and enterprise application implementations. He has managed and guided the development and implementation of over one hundred systems in his career.

For 20 years at PCG, he has managed large-scale projects focusing mainly on case management systems for special education.

Key PCG engagements include:

  • Leading statewide deployments of special education systems in Tennessee and New Hampshire
  • Leading the technology team that implemented the NJSMART data warehouse and LEA reporting system in New Jersey
  • Directing the implementation of the EngageNY education content portal, one of the nation's most active educational sites.
