Jillian Haring brings over twenty years of public education service experience to PCG, having held roles such as District Administrator, Behavior Specialist, Special Education Teacher, and Intervention Specialist. With dual bachelor’s degree in education and history and a master’s degree in information systems, she effectively addresses complex challenges in education.
Jillian played a pivotal role in the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy by implementing PCG's Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) solution in Broward schools, enhancing school safety and supporting student well-being. Her expertise in utilizing technology to streamline information flow has been crucial in monitoring students in crisis situations.
Post-retirement, Jillian has trained educators nationwide on Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) pedagogy and the PCG case management system. She has a documented background in all aspects of the threat assessment process, providing consultation for various institutions and delivering training to both law enforcement and civilian audiences.
A current/former BTAM practitioner with K-12 experience, Jillian has managed behavioral threat cases, overseeing and assessing interventions. She understands issues affecting the BTAM process, including interpersonal and workplace violence, Title IX, interviewing practices, social media and digital threat assessment, legal considerations, and open-source information. Jillian has developed and delivered comprehensive training protocols and materials, specializing in threat assessment strategies and security protocols to over 5,000 people in over ten states.
